If you experience an issue with your board and require technical assistance, please email us at support@my.revelboards.com and we'll do our best to get you back on the road in no time! If the board requires service at our San Diego, California office, we offer a flat $50 labor rate for repairs outside of warranty and our typical turnaround time is 2 to 4 business days.
The drive wheels can be replaced using the T10 tool included with your Revel Drive. There are 4 screws holding the aluminum cap on the outside of the drive wheel. Once the aluminum cap is off there are 4 more screws on the hub motor enclosure, and an additional 4 screws on the opposite side of the wheel.
Although the drive was designed to be low maintenance, making sure your components are operating properly on a regular basis will ensure maximum range and help prevent premature component wear. It is recommended to inspect the board prior to every ride and check that your bolts and nuts are tight, bearings are clean and rolling freely.
