Whenever you ride a REVEL powered board, you risk death or serious injury from loss of control, collisions, and falls. For your safety, you must read and follow all warnings and instructions in this user guide.
Always wear a helmet and other safety gear, such as gloves, elbow and knee pads. Long sleeves and closed toe shoes are highly recommended.
The Revel Drive can lose power and brakes at any moment due to radio interference, a dead remote battery, unintentional release of the Throttle control, braking on a full battery, or other factors. Only ride at speeds and on hills where you would be comfortable riding without power and brakes.
Braking downhill on a full battery can cause the drive to shut down due to regenerative braking overcharging the battery. To prevent this from happening, ride on flat ground or uphill before attempting to ride downhill.
Riding on hills is extremely dangerous even if you’re an experienced rider. You must know how to control your speed and not rely on the electric brakes, as they can stop working at any time, due to radio interference, a dead remote battery or other factors.
Do not ride in water, wet surfaces, in the rain or through puddles as it can cause the board to slip, lose power or stop suddenly.
Do not ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Always check and obey the local road rules in your area and do not ride on busy roads.
The throttle in Advanced Mode is highly sensitive and should be handled very gently. Always start moving as slowly as possible, to avoid being thrown off the board.
Always be mindful of other traffic participants and respect pedestrians!
DO NOT RIDE A REVEL POWERED BOARD AT SPEEDS OR IN ENVIRONMENTS YOU WOULD NOT NORMALLY RIDE A STANDARD NON-POWERED SKATEBOARD.
