Represent With This Rad KateBoards Electric Cruiser Skateboard

kateboards san diego electric skateboard cruiser

In honor of March as Women's History Month, we are excited to be pairing the Revel Kit with the Pinto II deck from San Diego-based and female-owned brand KateBoards. This retro electric cruiser is radical in multiple ways—take the shape and graphic for one, and what the brand stands for as a beacon for radical change as another.

KateBoards Pinto II Electric Cruiser Skateboard

KateBoards was born from owner Kate Adams' love of skating and mission for the inclusion and progression of womxn skateboarders of all levels through community meetups, collaborations, and quality products.

Frustrated by the typical "pink it and shrink it" approach that many companies historically take when it comes to marketing skate products toward girls and women, the focus is on providing the best boards possible.

The Pinto II puts this on full display. It may be short with some retro hot pink, but don't underestimate it. This board shreds—it's snappy, full of style and performance.

The graphic features graffiti-style artwork by Tierney Moses that completes the 80s look. On both sides you'll also see the KateBoards logo, which uses the delta symbol, signifying change and growth.

What Makes This Setup Unique?

This old school shape is meant to handle everything from cruising and carving to dropping in and riding around bowls. With a Revel Kit installed, we admit bowls and pools might a bit extreme, but this electric skateboard can still shred hard.

It's just calling for you to try popping small tricks like manuals, wheel slides and kick turns. (With a helmet on of course.)

Even if you're just going for a cruise, it will feel fun and responsive under your feet while keeping it mellow.

And while you're rocking the KateBoards Pinto II electric skateboard, you can rock out to our new playlist on Spotify featuring songs by female artists that we love to listen to while Reveling.
